• 1953: Dayton’s Commercial Interiors becomes an independent company.
• 1964: Our longstanding partnership with Steelcase begins as an authorized dealer.
• 1984: A strategic partnership with A&M Business Interior Services creates new opportunities for growth.
• 2000: The acquisition of Rowley-Schlimgen expands our presence into Wisconsin and Illinois.
• 2004: A new identity takes shape as we become Target Commercial Interiors.
• 2008: The acquisitions of Walsh Bros and USBI extend our reach into the Southwest.
• 2015: We join Omni Workspace and introduce our new identity: Atmosphere Commercial Interiors.
• 2026: A new era begins as we leave our longtime downtown Minneapolis home and establish a new Worklab in Hopkins, Minnesota – bringing together our growing network of brands, expertise and partnerships in one connected destination.
