Every year, IIDA Northland hosts Minnecon- an amazing trends and tradeshow event that brings NeoCon to our local market. This year, the event was held at Target Field and began with PIQUE, an event created for students to learn about the interior design industry, followed by forums and networking. Throughout the day, attendees were also able to participate in four different CEU’s led by industry professionals. The trade show began at noon, where designers and manufacturers’ representatives alike were able to network and learn about new products and finalized with a happy hour at Bat & Barrel.
Our own booth was all about collaboration in the workplace and our amazing partnerships through Steelcase. We showed how mixing different products and partners together in a space can create successful areas to accomplish work away from the desk. The booth, in partnership with our amazing friends at Designtex, featured new finishes and inspiration from Designtex, a Turnstone Campfire lounge, the Coalesse Denizen movable laptop table, a Steelcase B-Free Ottoman, a Springboard Q! glassboard and the Blu Dot Buttercup chair.
