About Carlene Wilson
With a career spanning over 30 years of leadership in the commercial interiors industry, Carlene Wilson is a nationally recognized executive known for driving business transformation, accelerating sales performance, and shaping strategic direction across regional and national markets. In 2016, she joined Atmosphere as Executive Vice President of National Sales and Marketing, and within a year, was promoted to President and CEO. Carlene presently serves concurrently as President and CEO of Atmosphere Commercial Interiors, and CEO of OmniWorkspace, Atmosphere’s parent company. Carlene is also Chair of the Omni Board of Directors where she leads with a clear vision for innovation, providing an exceptional customer experience, and sustained operational excellence.
As CEO of OmniWorkspace, Carlene has directed significant initiatives including the rebranding of their service business and hospitality division, investing in a prefabricated interiors construction business and in acquiring a project services company. These accomplishments have resulted in the diversification of Omni’s overall business portfolio, expanded their national reach and secured their position as a leader in the industry.
A champion for economic development and women in leadership, Carlene has served on the executive steering committee for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber, as well as the Minneapolis Economic Development Council and the Minnesota Women’s President’s Organization. Additionally, she is a board member and equity partner at Connect Interiors, a certified women-owned Steelcase dealership based in Fargo, ND.
Carlene is highly respected. Her style is inspirational, collaborative and results-oriented. Carlene’s extensive experience and expertise in guiding dealerships at both the ownership and executive level have positioned her as a thought leader and powerful influencer throughout the industry.
Originally from New Jersey, Carlene holds a B.A. in Economics from Gettysburg College.
