To achieve this, they need thoughtfully curated solutions that include a broad range of solutions such as lighting, accessories and furnishings. In order to meet the needs of our clients, we’re delighted to announce that Steelcase has entered into a new partnership with Minneapolis-based furniture maker Blu Dot.
Atmosphere will now place orders directly with Blu Dot, like any member of our comprehensive portfolio of suppliers. Visit Blu Dot to browse product options, and contact Atmosphere to order.
Blu Dot is a residential look line started by two entrepreneurial designers in the late 1990s, and the “useful, affordable and desirable” products are still designed in a Minneapolis studio today.

About Blu Dot
Blu Dot was founded in 1997 by three designers, John Christakos, Maurice Blanks and Charlie Lazor. As they were furnishing their first homes, the things they liked they couldn’t afford and the things they could afford they didn’t like – and so, Blu Dot was born. Blu Dot’s collection spans multiple categories of home and office furnishings and is sold online and through Blu Dot stores in the U.S. and internationally. Their work has won numerous design awards and has been exhibited in prominent museums such as the Centre Pompidou, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, The Walker Art Center and MoMA. The company is privately held and is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN.
