Can you briefly tell us about your career journey?
I entered college as an Early Elementary Education major but through my first clinical I realized quickly it was not my cup of tea and immediately switched to a business marketing major.

After college I began my career at a furniture manufacturer in Green Bay, WI as an Inside Sales Specialist. During my time back in Green Bay, my hometown, I decided I wanted to move to a larger city and jumped at an opening in Field Sales in Minneapolis.

After a few years doing that, I transitioned to a project manager role for architectural walls which is where I really learned a lot about the numerous ways they can be used by clients within any given space.

Are there any moments, projects or themes from your career that have made a lasting impact on you?
Two themes/bits of advice that I learned from a mentor when I first started in this industry is patience and optimism.  With every project there can be road blocks, and moments that may make you want to pull your hair out, but having patience and optimism, sometimes cautious optimism, will help you manage the stresses of this ever changing industry.

What is your most memorable travel experience?
A few years ago, I went to Turks and Caicos.  It was the bluest water and the nicest beaches I’ve ever seen in my life!

What song do you have on repeat?
I have an extremely broad taste in music from classic country to new hip hop and everything in between so it’s hard to pick just one song.
If I had to choose it would be Going Away to College by Blink 182.  A must listen every time it cycles through on my playlists.

What’s your Starbucks order?!
In summer, a large caramel iced coffee, NO cream.  Winter is just a standard black coffee.
Pretty basic boring coffee order.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I’m most excited to help educate clients about how architectural walls can be leveraged as a tool to help them more efficiently use their new or existing space.
