At the end of April, we celebrated a lifetime of achievements with John Jurgensen’s retirement. John’s career began while helping launch start-up restaurants in Las Vegas and Grand Rapids. He then came into the commercial interiors world by working with Westinghouse, Steelcase, and then finally, Dayton’s Commercial Interiors. It was here that he pioneered the “marketing” department within a dealership. As the company grew, and eventually became Target Commercial Interiors, John wore many hats in a variety of positions. What he carried throughout each role was his constant reminder of who our focus should be- the client. This focus eventually lead to his infamous “Friday Voices” emails and dedication to “Ask & Listen”.
While John is putting away on the green and travelling, he will be sorely missed here!
