MINNEAPOLIS, April 27, 2017 — Atmosphere Commercial Interiors, a preeminent contract furniture and services dealership, is pleased to announce that Carlene Wilson has been promoted to President, and has accepted the invitation to join the board of directors as well as acquire an equity stake in Omni Workspace, the holding company of Atmosphere. With seven offices in four states, Atmosphere serves a vast client base, generating revenues of $200M as one of the world’s largest Steelcase dealers.

Prior to joining Atmosphere in 2016, Carlene was co-owner of the Dallas-based Steelcase dealership, BKM Total Office of Texas, where she helped build a fast-growing and thriving business in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. At BKM, Carlene led a team of 40 professionals, with responsibility for sales, marketing, design, client services, and talent development. She launched new divisions dedicated to the fast-growing healthcare and education markets, and served as Chair of the Steelcase Dealer Council. Prior to BKM, she held leadership positions with Steelcase as well as several other successful commercial furniture dealerships.

Since joining the business, Carlene assumed responsibility for national sales, marketing, and design, and has begun evolving the entire sales and marketing organization into a more dynamic, competitive and high-growth engine. Under her leadership, Atmosphere has added several highly regarded industry veterans, including Greg Whitehead, Vice President of Sales, Business Development in Minnesota; Trish Shirk, Design Manager in Minnesota; Nancy Griffin, Director of Sales in Arizona; as well as promoted Tracy Corona to Design Manager in Arizona.
